We were excited to host a visiting team from Quanta Computer Inc. from Taiwan recently to discuss one of our launch projects. Quanta, one of the world’s largest computer manufacturers, will be working with CC-ABHI and Baycrest to refine and test an innovative cloud-based solution to empower seniors, their families and caregivers while allowing seniors to better age in the setting of their choice.

Over several days of intensive meetings, the CC-ABHI and Quanta teams discussed refinements to how the user will interact with the solution as well as the content and application that would have the most relevance and impact to our seniors. We had the privilege to speak with seniors and healthcare providers who shared valuable insights into their challenges and needs – all for the purpose of improving solutions and ensuring that these solutions get into the hands of those who really need them.

For the CC-ABHI team, a highlight of the visit was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two groups. It marks an important step in our partnership with Quanta. It also signals that CC-ABHI can be a global force for change in senior’s care by working with international partners to bring the best ideas and solutions from anywhere in the world to help our aging population.

This is an auspicious beginning – onwards and upwards from here.
