The Canadian Centre for Aging & Brain Health Innovation (CC-ABHI) is reaching out to let you know that we’ve launched our Knowledge Mobilization Partnership Program (KMP2). This program is designed to help clinicians, managers, researchers and academics in Canada drive adoption of best and next practices across stakeholder groups in the aging and brain health sector. The objective of this program is to accelerate system-wide adoption of proven innovations across Canada. In total, up to CAD $ 1 million in funding will be available through KMP2.
We are now seeking clinicians, researchers, managers and academics with evidence-based knowledge, proven solutions, or next or best practice recommendations aimed at addressing specific care priorities for older adults living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, or are targeted at improving cognitive fitness in the aging population.
Through KMP2, CC-ABHI will provide up to CAD $250,000 in funding per project to support eligible project costs directly associated with the dissemination of knowledge across Canada. KMP2 projects may encompass a range of activities that will create actual products and/or dissemination tools or methodologies; enable the spread and integration of knowledge into practice throughout several organizations; support staff with adopting next practices; and, evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge mobilization activities and outcomes for end users.
This funding program is open to applicants employed by an institution or affiliated with an institution that qualifies as a Canada Revenue Agency qualified donee or a non-profit organization located in Canada. Funding will be provided directly to the host institution employing the principal Investigators of the qualifying projects, and all projects must be completed within a 12 month period.
