The Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI), powered by Baycrest, officially released its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan. This plan outlines a roadmap to improve the lives of older persons—particularly those affected by dementia—by accelerating the development and adoption of innovative solutions. At its core, the plan envisions a future where older persons can live with dignity, purpose, and independence, supported by technologies and care models that are practical, inclusive, and person-centred. C
The strategy is built around three main priorities:
1. Building innovation capacity by strengthening the skills, networks, and collaboration among those developing and delivering solutions.
2. Accelerating innovation by providing funding, mentorship, and opportunities to test solutions in real-world settings, helping promising ideas move more quickly from concept to widespread use.
3. Transforming the broader ecosystem by fostering partnerships across sectors and influencing policies and practices so that innovation can be more easily adopted at scale.
