When an employee goes off work due to illness or injury, getting them the right support quickly is critical — yet most employers rely on a fragmented patchwork of phone calls, spreadsheets, email, and manual data entry to manage that process. In large healthcare organizations, triage teams can make 300+ calls per day, and it can take 15–20 days to make first contact with an employee. Delays and administrative overload don't just hurt employers — they hurt the people already navigating injury, illness, and uncertainty. Fragmented workflows mean slower interventions, longer absences, higher costs, and employees who feel lost in the process. This problem is widespread across healthcare, public sector, and any organization managing workforce disability at scale.

PrimeHealth is a digital care coordination platform that modernizes absence and disability management for large employers. We replace fragmented phone, email, and spreadsheet workflows with a single, secure platform for digital intake, triage, communication, and return-to-work coordination. Our design is trauma-informed and cognition-sensitive — because employees in these workflows are often injured, distressed, or overwhelmed.

In our active deployment with Fraser Health Authority and the BC Nurses' Union, we reduced average triage time by 83% and time-to-first-contact from up to 20 days to 1.36 days. Projected annual value at full Fraser Health scale is $32M+. PrimeHealth recently received $350,000 in non-dilutive funding from Innovate BC, validating both our technology and commercial potential. We are now transitioning to a commercial contract with Fraser Health, with expansion across BC health authorities and other large employers underway.
