Announcing CABHI at AAIC 2026 Image

As part of our ongoing commitment to advancing aging and brain health innovation, CABHI, powered by Baycrest, is proud to be participating in the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) 2026 in London, England. AAIC brings together researchers, clinicians, innovators, policymakers, investors, and people with lived experience from around the world to share knowledge and explore new approaches to addressing dementia and improving quality of life.

On Wednesday, July 15, CABHI will co-host the Global Dementia Innovation Mixer alongside Alzheimer’s Society. This event will connect diverse voices from across the dementia ecosystem to foster collaboration, share insights, and explore opportunities to accelerate the adoption of impactful solutions.

Building on our partnership with Alzheimer’s Society

The Global Dementia Innovation Mixer builds on CABHI’s growing relationship with Alzheimer’s Society and our shared commitment to supporting innovation that addresses the complex challenges associated with dementia.

Earlier this year, Alzheimer’s Society collaborated on CABHI’s AgeTech Insights initiative, contributing to our market intelligence reports on brain health and dementia risk. This included supporting a large-scale survey exploring awareness of dementia prevention and the role technology can play in enabling healthier lifestyles.

Partnerships like these help ensure that innovation is informed by evidence, real-world needs, and lived experience across the continuum of aging and dementia care.

Connecting innovation to real-world impact

Innovation in dementia care, prevention, and support is advancing rapidly, but promising solutions often face barriers when moving from idea to implementation.

The Global Dementia Innovation Mixer is designed to help bridge that gap by creating space for:

  • Cross-sector collaboration

  • Shared learning among global partners

  • Conversations focused on scaling, adoption, and real-world impact

By bringing together perspectives from across the dementia innovation ecosystem, the mixer will support practical conversations about what it takes to move promising solutions into use.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with innovators directly through an on-site showcase featuring technologies and solutions designed to advance dementia prevention, detection, treatment, and care.

Supporting innovators through our Accelerators

At CABHI, we work with innovators, researchers, care organizations, and older persons to support the development, validation, and adoption of solutions that improve quality of life for older persons and promote healthy aging.

We’re proud to have  Kneu Health, one of Alzheimer’s Society’s accelerator partners, sponsor the Global Dementia Innovation Mixer. Kneu Health is developing smartphone-based technologies to support earlier detection and more personalized neurological care. Its work reflects the growing potential of technology-enabled solutions to enhance brain health and dementia care.

Looking ahead

Dementia is a complex global challenge that cannot be solved in isolation. It requires collaboration across research, care, technology, and policy.

Together with partners like Alzheimer’s Society, we remain committed to accelerating innovation that supports healthy aging, advances brain health, and improves outcomes for older persons and care partners globally.
