From February 22 to 25, the CABHI team headed to ViVE to get a pulse on the global agetech market. The premier event brings together international healthcare business and technology leaders to explore innovation and drive real-world transformation in digital health.

With designated exhibitor areas for early-stage startups, education, diagnostics, and cybersecurity, specialty sessions, and meet-up opportunities, the health conference offered opportunities for investors, policymakers, and innovators alike.

Our team spent time exploring the showroom floor, learning about current trends and up-and-coming innovations.

Here are our top five aging and brain health innovations at ViVE 2026:

Of course, we had to start with a CABHI-supported innovator! Paperplane Therapeutics is the developer of a VR video game used in healthcare and dental care settings to support clients in managing pain and anxiety in clinical settings.

Nuvilab has created AI food scanners to improve health and lifestyle through data-driven nutrition management. By tracking food with pre- and post-meal scans, healthcare workers can ensure clients receive the proper nutrients and tailor meals accordingly. These scanners also save time, as team members would have to otherwise track this information manually.

Tombot creates pets for people who can’t have pets. Equipped with interactive sensors and designed to mimic the sounds of a real puppy, these companion robots offer those living with health adversities the enriching opportunity to have their own pet. Tombot puppies reduce stress, combat loneliness and isolation, and decrease feelings of anxiety.

NewDays is an innovative, AI-powered cognitive treatment that helps users delay symptoms of cognitive decline and preserve their independence.  NewDays prescribes patients a blend of regular appointments with a dedicated clinician, along with personalized cognitive exercises delivered through an AI companion.

Last but certainly not least, another CABHI-supported company: Sword Health! Sword Health offers AI-powered programs that aim to reduce pain and improve movement.

Staying on top of the latest trends in aging and brain health innovation is one of the ways we bring real-world actionable insight to our CABHI companies and ecosystem partners for the ultimate benefit of older persons and caregivers.
