Join us on Friday, June 26, for an engaging webinar celebrating the inaugural CABHI Science Collaborative (CSC) Fellowship awardees as they share the innovative research, ideas, and knowledge mobilization projects they are advancing across aging and brain health.
This showcase will feature brief presentations from nine emerging researchers representing institutions across Canada, including McGill University, the University of British Columbia, the University of Toronto, York University, and Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care. Each fellow will offer a snapshot of their work, the questions driving their research, and the potential impact their ideas could have for older adults, caregivers, healthcare providers, and the future of brain health innovation.
What to expect
The event will open with a fireside chat with Dr. Allison Sekuler, President and Chief Scientist at the Baycrest Academy for Research and Education and the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation, Sandra A. Rotman Chair in Cognitive Neuroscience, Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, and co-host of the Defy Dementia podcast, and Dr. Rosanne Aleong, Director of Research, Innovation, and Translation at the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation and Executive Director of Research, Innovation, and Translation at the Baycrest Academy for Research and Education.
Co-hosted and moderated by Dr. Rosanne Aleong and Dr. Linda Truong, this interactive virtual event will include audience engagement, trivia, prizes, and opportunities to learn more about the next generation of aging and brain health leaders.
